WORKSHOP CAPABILITIES

 

Fabrication of equipment, QA/QC activities and inspection is undertaken at our manufacturing plant located in Governolo di Roncoferraro, Mantova, Italy, covering 3.500 m2. It is almost completely dedicated to the production of flare systems including risers, vessels and structures and it has a segregated stainless steel shop dedicated to the fabrication of flare tips and stainless steel components.
The factory is located 15 km from the center of Mantua and has sufficient space to allow the fitting of test and training facilities derrick very large. Having its own loading dock, you can upload directly with barge on the river Mincio, which gives access to the main Italian port in Venice and Ravenna (North-East).

GENERAL

The fabrication shop is wholly owned by the TCD Italia S.r.l. and with current resources it has a maximum annual production capacity of 1.500 tons.
As stated above, the total work area is 5.500 m2, of which 3.500 m2 are under cover including:

  • Structural Workshop : 1.500 m2
  • Process Equipment Workshop: 1.200 m2
  • Stainless Steel Workshop: 500 m2
  • Store: 300 m2

The remaining 2.000 m2 utilized for outside storage, R&D and trial assembly of large structures and systems.

  • Maximum width/height of workshop 20 x 11m (under Overhead crane’s hook)
  • Workshop access is from a main road through 8m wide gates.

WELDING

All welders are qualified to ASME IX
All procedures are qualified to ASME IX
Weld procedures and welder qualifications are generally performed under the surveillance of ABS.
